Hazel works over SMS and voice calls. Text her the way you would text anyone on your team. She handles drafts, reminders, and updates without you needing to open any app or log into a dashboard.
No. Hazel drafts and you approve. Nothing goes to a client, subcontractor, or anyone else until you say so. You can approve by replying to a text or from the dashboard.
Yes. You can see drafts, approve or reject them, and make corrections entirely over SMS. The dashboard gives you a fuller view, but you never need it to stay in control. You can text or call Hazel.
Yes. Over time, Hazel picks up on your preferences. For example, how you phrase things, which details matter to you, how you like to communicate with clients. She adjusts to match your style, not the other way around.
Tasks and capabilities
Change orders, schedule changes, daily logs, client update emails, punch lists, invoice alerts, and subcontractor coordination. If it is something you would normally handle at your desk at 7pm, Hazel can handle it during the day, wherever you are.
QuickBooks integration is on the roadmap. Right now, Hazel handles the communication and documentation side of your back office. QuickBooks sync is coming.
Yes. Hazel can draft and send notifications, schedule reminders, and follow up with subs — after you approve what goes out.
Trust and control
You do, always. Hazel operates on a draft-first model. She writes it; you approve it. She will never send an email, text, or message to anyone without your explicit sign-off.
Correct it or reject it. If you reject a draft over SMS, Hazel will ask what to change. If you edit it before approving, she notes the adjustment and applies it going forward.
She asks. Hazel is built to surface ambiguity rather than guess. If context is missing or the right move is not clear, she will check with you before drafting anything.
Yes. Your data is stored in a private, encrypted database scoped to your account. Hazel does not share data across firms or use your project information to train models.
